Musthafa PC, CEO and Co-founder, iD Fresh Food. A school dropout, who went on to do his Engineering in Computer Science from NIT Calicut and MBA from IIM-Bangalore, he is the brain behind iD, one of India’s largest fresh-food brands. The son of a daily wage earner from a remote village, Chennalode in Wayanad Kerala, has come a long way.  Musthafa was 10 years old when he dropped out of school. He had failed Class 5 and was an average student. A money crunch at home led him to work as a day wager. Musthafa got an MBA degree, and went on to work for MNCs across India and the Middle East. 

In late 2004, Musthafa returned to India with three objectives in mind – creating employment for young people in his village, spending more time with his parents and pursuing higher education. 

Musthafa has been lauded with many prestigious awards, such as the Forbes Tycoons of Tomorrow, India Today Make in India Award, JCI National Award, Vocational Excellence Award and Entrepreneur India Award, IIMB Distinguished Alumni Award. 

PC Musthafa is also part of the Prime Minister’s ‘Champions of Change’ team with a vision to build a new India by 2022. He has been invited to share his success story at various esteemed platforms, including the Harvard Business School, MIT-Sloan and United Nations.

Besides innovative packaging design, constant experimentation, and attention to detail, the company has also consistently focused on marketing—especially emotive, socially conscious marketing.
