Twinkle Khanna - Motivational Speaker Profile
Twinkle Khanna, aka Mrs Funnybones is a renowned Indian author, newspaper columnist, film producer, former film actress and interior designer.
Her latest book, Pyjamas Are Forgiving has made her the highest-selling female author in India in the year 2018, according to Nielsen BookScan India. Her previous two books, Mrs Funnybones and The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad, both have been declared bestsellers.
Twinkle turned a producer when she produced Pad Man, the screen adaptation of her short story. She is loved for her sense of humour, which is sometimes self-deprecating, sometimes sharply satirical but mostly cruelly honest.
Twinkle writes a column for The Times of India and Daily News and Analysis (DNA), and her witty and funny observations as well as her boldly liberal opinions have captured the interest and respect of her readers.
But before Twinkle came to be applauded for her writing skills, Mrs. Funnybones also began her tryst with interior designing. Unafraid to experiment, the multitasking entrepreneur launched her interior designing store 'The White Window' in 2002 with her good friend and professional interior designer, Gurlein Manchanda. She has done the interior decor for actors like Rani Mukherji and Salman Khan in the past.
